Bool AI
The rules that govern your use of Bool AI.
By installing Bool AI from the GitHub Marketplace or using any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are installing Bool AI on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use Bool AI.
Bool AI ("the Service") is an AI engineering teammate that integrates with GitHub. When a pull request is opened or updated in a connected repository, Bool AI analyses the diff and runs up to four specialized agents — Code Review, Refactoring Suggestions, Test Case Generation, and Documentation — posting results as inline suggestion blocks directly on the pull request.
Available agents depend on your subscription plan. Test Case Generation and Documentation are available on Pro and Business plans respectively, and currently support Java only.
The Service is provided "as is" and is intended as a supplement to, not a replacement for, human code review.
Usage limits are enforced on a rolling 7-day window, not a calendar month. Reviews that exceed your plan's weekly limit are recorded as skipped and will not be processed. They are never silently dropped — skipped reviews appear in your admin dashboard for audit purposes. Upgrade your plan to increase your limit immediately.
Paid plans are billed through GitHub Marketplace. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to GitHub Marketplace's Terms of Service. We do not store payment card details.
Plan changes take effect immediately for upgrades and at the next billing cycle for downgrades, as managed by GitHub Marketplace.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via GitHub Marketplace. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.
You agree not to use Bool AI to:
Bool AI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bool AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Review comments generated by Bool AI and posted to your pull requests are provided for your use. You retain full ownership of your source code; Bool AI claims no rights over your code or the review comments generated from it.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You grant Bool AI a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, process, and transmit your pull request data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim any ownership of your code.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
No service level agreement (SLA) is provided for Free plan users. Pro and Business plan users may contact support for availability concerns.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bool AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
You may terminate your use of Bool AI at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App from your organisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, 10, and 12) will survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where practical, by notifying you via GitHub or email.
Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
